Mer-Mar also has added a dedicated flow solder line for lead free (RoHS) assemblies to complement the lead-free surface mount line that has been operating for years.

Wave solder
Automatic wave solder system with proven performance, self-contained fluxing, preheating and laminar (smooth) solder wave modules. Decrease labor costs by significantly reducing hand soldering.
The Spartan 12S (Single wave) and 12D (dual wave) solder machines can process printed circuit board assemblies up to 12″ wide and require very little solder for their size. The single or dual wave soldering systems come complete with Conveyor, Foam Fluxer with Integral Air Compressor, Preheaters, and Stainless Steel Solder Pot with drain valve, and compact microprocessor Controller.
Washing Machine with DI water
This Fully Automatic Deionized Water Washing Machine is ideal for precise washing task like removal of ion contamination and particles. This exhibits high washing performance when it comes to items that require a high degree of cleanliness, such as HDD parts, glass, BGA and CSP substrates. Features and uses:

X-Ray Machine
We have Photon Dynamics Superior X-ray (SX) Series which provides high-resolution and high magnification X-ray inspection capability in a flexible and compact workstation configuration. With its wide selection of X-ray sources, image intensifiers, sample manipulators and software, the SX Series is made specifically to meet the special non-destructive inspection requirements for today’s production, research development and quality assurance departments.
The Quality equipments are equipped with Photon Dynamics’ own RTI-580 image processing system, made for processing real-time X-ray images. Powerful and easy to use, RTI imaging systems provide repeatable and accurate results for both production and research applications.

Temperature Chamber
Quality is at the heart of Mer-Mar. We use Thermotron’s SE-300-2-2 temperature chamber, also known as environmental chamber to ensure high performance, high quality, higher productivity and accurate test results. SE-300-2-2 temperature chamber is equipped with Thermotron’s patented modular humidity system for simultaneous temperature and humidity testing.
